These Terms of Sale apply to purchases made through the Celako website. They explain how orders, payments, delivery, returns, consumer rights, and after-sales support are handled.

1. Scope
These Terms of Sale apply to all orders placed by customers through our online store.
By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms of Sale, together with our Terms of Service, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, and any product-specific information shown before checkout.
2. Products
Celako offers lighting and interior products for residential, decorative, and project use.
We make reasonable efforts to describe and present our products accurately. Product images, colours, finishes, dimensions, and materials may vary slightly depending on screen settings, lighting conditions, handmade finishes, production batches, natural material variations, or the way the product is installed.
Some products may include handmade, artisanal, ceramic, fabric, metal, glass, stone, or natural material elements. Minor variations in texture, finish, colour, or form may be part of the product’s character and are not always considered defects.
3. Product Suitability
Before placing an order, you are responsible for checking that the product is suitable for your intended space, ceiling type, electrical system, room conditions, dimensions, and local installation requirements.
Lighting products should be installed by a qualified electrician or competent professional in accordance with applicable safety standards and local regulations.
4. Prices
Prices are displayed on the website at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to update prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted, except in the case of an obvious pricing error.
Depending on your delivery country, prices may or may not include VAT, sales tax, customs duties, import fees, carrier handling fees, or local taxes. Any applicable charges will be shown at checkout where possible, or may be charged by the carrier, customs authority, or local tax authority upon import.
5. Payment
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
By submitting payment information, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and that the information provided is accurate.
An order may not be processed until payment has been successfully received and verified.
6. Order Confirmation
After placing an order, you may receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order request.
Your order is accepted when we confirm acceptance, begin processing the order, or dispatch the product, depending on the product and order status.
We may refuse or cancel an order where there is a valid reason, including payment failure, suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, stock unavailability, delivery restrictions, product discontinuation, or an error in the product information.
7. Order Changes and Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@celako.com.
We cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations can be made once the order has entered processing, production, preparation, customisation, packaging, or dispatch.
For made-to-order, customised, special-order, or personalised products, cancellation may not be possible once production or preparation has started, where permitted by applicable law.
8. Shipping and Delivery
Delivery times shown on our website or communicated by our team are estimates only, unless we expressly agree to a guaranteed delivery date in writing.
Delivery times may vary depending on product availability, preparation time, production time, destination country, customs processing, carrier performance, public holidays, weather, strikes, supply chain conditions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
For consumer orders, risk in the goods passes to you when you, or a person nominated by you, physically receives the goods. This does not affect your statutory rights.

9. Delivery Issues
Please inspect your package as soon as possible after delivery.
If your item arrives damaged, incomplete, incorrect, or with visible packaging damage, please contact us promptly at contact@celako.com with your order number, photos of the item, photos of the packaging, shipping label images, and any relevant details.
We may request additional photos, videos, packaging evidence, or carrier documentation in order to assess the issue and provide the appropriate solution.
10. Right of Withdrawal
For eligible consumer purchases made online, you generally have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to notify us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase, unless an exception applies under applicable law.

Returned products must be sent back in a condition suitable for inspection and resale, with their original packaging, accessories, components, manuals, and protective materials where reasonably possible.
11. Exceptions to Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal may not apply to certain products where permitted by law, including customised, made-to-order, personalised, special-order, or clearly final-sale products.
Any product-specific exception will be stated where applicable.
12. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.

Unless otherwise required by law or stated in our Refund Policy, customers may be responsible for return shipping costs where the return is due to change of mind, wrong size selection, incorrect product choice, or other non-defective reasons.
13. Legal Guarantee of Conformity
Consumers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity and any other mandatory protection provided by applicable consumer law.
Under EU consumer rules, if goods are faulty, not as described, or do not work as reasonably expected, consumers may be entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms of Sale limits your mandatory legal rights.
14. Defective or Non-Conforming Products
If you believe your product is defective, damaged, incomplete, or not as described, please contact us at contact@celako.com with your order number and supporting evidence.
Depending on the issue and applicable law, the solution may include repair, replacement, missing part shipment, price reduction, refund, or another appropriate remedy.
15. Installation and Use
Lighting products must be installed and used correctly. Incorrect installation, unsuitable electrical systems, unauthorised modifications, misuse, poor maintenance, or failure to follow installation instructions may affect product performance and safety.
Celako is not responsible for faults, damage, injury, or losses caused by incorrect installation, misuse, unsuitable electrical conditions, unauthorised changes, or failure to follow safety and installation requirements.
16. Trade, Professional, and Project Orders
Trade, interior design, hospitality, commercial, or project orders may be subject to separate quotations, lead times, payment terms, return conditions, or custom-order conditions.
Where a separate written quotation or agreement applies, that document may apply in addition to these Terms of Sale.
17. Promotions and Discounts
Discount codes, promotions, and special offers may be subject to expiry dates, exclusions, minimum order values, product restrictions, or other conditions.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or modify a promotion where there is misuse, fraud, technical error, or a clear mistake.
18. Liability
Nothing in these Terms of Sale limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Celako is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or loss of data.
For consumers, this limitation does not affect your statutory rights.

20. Governing Law
These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of France, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your country of residence.
If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence where mandatory consumer laws allow this.
